CatchUp Dispatch collects the following categories of information to provide our fleet dispatch and roadside assistance platform:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and company name provided during registration or service requests.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates shared by motorists when they grant location permission via their device browser. Location data is used solely to connect motorists with nearby towing operators and is not stored beyond the active service session.
- Device & Usage Data: Browser type, IP address, and platform interaction logs used for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
- Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe. CatchUp never stores raw card numbers on its servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information collected is used exclusively to:
- Dispatch towing operators and send transactional SMS notifications to motorists who have requested roadside assistance.
- Provide live GPS tracking links and digital invoicing within active service sessions.
- Maintain platform security and prevent fraudulent activity.
- Communicate service updates, billing confirmations, and account notices.
3. SMS & Transactional Messaging
CatchUp sends transactional SMS messages (dispatch notifications, driver contact information, and location tracking links) to motorists who request roadside assistance through our platform or via an operator.
Consent: By requesting service, motorists consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to their service request. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opt-Out: Users may opt out of all SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, no further messages will be sent except where required by law.
Mobile numbers are collected solely for transactional service notifications and will never be shared, sold, or rented to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Information Sharing & Disclosure
CatchUp does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Trusted vendors (Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, Supabase for data storage) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Requirements: When required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal data may be transferred with appropriate notice.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Location data from motorist tracking sessions is not retained after the service session ends. Account data is retained for the duration of the subscription and up to 90 days after account closure.

CatchUp uses industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, Stripe’s PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing, and session-based authentication. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure; we continuously work to protect your data.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our platform. Continued use of CatchUp after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
